Established in 2007, Ysabel Barnett Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a nonprofit organization that exists to:
· Enhance and support the educational experience at Ysabel Barnett Elementary School
· Develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parent involvement
· Improve the environment at Ysabel Barnett Elementary School through volunteer and financial support
Run entirely by volunteers, the BES PTO raises over $100,000 annually to support:
· Programs: Field Trips & Assemblies
· Events: Harvest Festival, Bubble Bash, Day of Awesomeness, Winter Wonderland, School Dance, Earth Day, Field Day, Tissues & Tea
· Academic Enrichment: Book Fair, Library Support, Literacy Night
· Student Recognition: Pioneer of the Month, 5th Grade Promotion, 5th Grade Year-End Field Trip, Pizza with the Principal, PAL Mascot, Spirit Tags
· Teacher & Staff Support: Staff Appreciation Week, Welcome Back Day, Recess/PE Equipment, Front Office Support, Campus Improvement Projects
· Garden: Garden Club, Garden Clean-ups, Plant Sales
All BES parents and guardians are welcome to join BES PTO – there is no fee to join!
